Kroger Gummi Worms Review
  Avoid Eating
Kroger Gummi Worms are not your average bag of worms... These have been roughed up and beaten down with no quality control. These are sold for 2 / $3 at the general Kroger grocery store; and this price comes with a cost...

When you first open the bag of Kroger Gummi Worms you get a strong stench that lingers in the back of your nose, almost tasting a little bitter. The consistency in the worms is horrible... Mixed in your bag of gummi worms you may find dry, brittle, or tough worms... Right when you toss a worm in your mouth, the edges and the worms themselves begin to fall apart. Its weird because this bag didn't expire for a year!

Looking closely at the worms you will see various scratch marks where it contained contact with a rough edge or surface. (See image right) Any type of friction over a period of time can potentially cause food contamination from ware and tare. I don't know about you, but I don't want my worms scratched up on any surface regardless of the conditions. I also seem to find small odd white particles stuck to the worms.

The Kroger Gummi Worms have a weird bitter aftertaste and I will be supervised if you finish your whole bag. In comparison with other gummi worms, these don't stand a chance. If you are looking for gummi worms, I recommend you select a different brand such as Trolli Squiggles.
