Alright so you wanted to order some pizza online and you come across Papa John's Pizza... Well its all fun and games until your out of money... Papa Johns is one of the most expensive Pizza Delivery services in the city area... Which is not a bad thing... when the employees put a little love in the pizza.
Ever since I switched delivery over to Papa Johns I noticed a increase in quality from sauce to toppings... A decent amount of sauce is added with that extra bit near the crust, just how it should be... However this great experience is thrown away when your pizza arrives cold. In my area; They must leave orders on the countertop until a queue of pizzas are completed, to save on gas or delivery runs...
An extremely important factor to making quality pizza is consistency and temperature... If one of your pizzas sits around too long, obviously don't send it out... Make another one.. I ordered one 2 topping pizza with a order of coke... the total was $26 with tip... Come on... give me a large pizza worth $26. Not a cold one after waiting 50 minutes. It's not because they are busy either. I will even order at 11pm on a wednesday... or 6pm on a thursday with often times the same results!
So after about 10 of these orders trust me... the price is definitely a risk vs quality... You will basically be taking a gamble with every order. Even if 1 out of 10 orders are cold, it is still a chunk of change.
Unfortunately if your looking for a drink, your stuck with two 20 oz coke bottles. Even the soda is pricey... At $2.44 for two 20 oz bottles... that's more expensive than today's gas prices. They should upgrade to 2-liters because of obvious reasons.
One of the few pizza delivery services with online ordering... You can order your pizza instantly at Papa John's website and have it delivered without waiting on hold or talking to a representative.
Everyone should experience Papa Johns at least once... as for you never know what your going to get for that $26.
